C-Bus training courses are run regularly in all States of Australia. Most are conducted by CIS employees, however in some cities the C-Bus Basics training course is conducted by external Registered Training Organisations.
A short on-line registration tutorial (approx 15 minutes duration) is to be completed as part of the C-Bus Basics course registration. At the end of the tutorial you will be able to select the state where you wish to attend a C-Bus training course.

C-Bus Basics
The C-Bus Basics training course is designed to educate the participant on the following:
- Basic C-Bus Principles.
- The type of different C-Bus Hardware.
- Programming C-Bus using the C-Bus Toolkit software.
- Programming Relays, Dimmers, Key Switches, Sensors, Scenes, Network Bridges and DLT’s.
- Basic Fault Finding and Diagnostic Skills.
Course Duration: Approximately 3 days.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Online Registration Tutorial.
C-Bus Touch Screens
The C-Bus Touch Screens training course focuses on programming the Black and White and Colour Touch Screens. The C-Bus Touch Screen training course is designed to educate the participant on the following:
- Setting up a project in the PICED software.
- Creating and using Themes.
- Creating and configuring Menu Structures.
- Providing C-Bus & IR Control.
- Creating Scenes & Schedules.
- Password Protecting Pages (Via Access Control).
- Utilising Colour Objects.
- Displaying HTML & Web Cams.
- Using Inbuilt Systems I/O’s.
- Using Templates.
Course Duration: Approximately 2 days.
Prerequisites: C-Bus Basics.
C-Bus Logic
The C-Bus Logic training course is primarily designed to teach participants how to write logic code for Touch Screens, PAC’s, HomeGate and Schedule Plus. It is designed to educate the participant on the following:
- How the Logic Engine works.
- Logic Terminology
- Using Logic Wizards and Line Insert features.
- Using Logic Help Files
- A number of different familiarisation and practical application exercises.
Course Duration: Approximately 2 days.
Prerequisites: C-Bus Basics & C-Bus Touch Screens.
Multi Room Audio
The Multi Room Audio training course is designed to educate the participant on the following:
- Programming Amplifiers using the C-Bus Toolkit software.
- Programming the Matrix Switcher with MARPA software.
- Introduction Digital Audio Topologies.
- IR Reader and IR Transmitter
- IR Distribution for Multi Room Audio
Course Duration: Approximately 1 day.
Prerequisites: C-Bus Basics & C-Bus Touch Screens.
CBus Installation Practices
The CBus Installation Practices training course is designed to educate the participant on the following:
