0-10volt - Fluorescent Dimming
Any dimming method used for dimming fluorescent fittings will require special "control gear" in the fittings.
One of the older dimming control methods for fluorescent fittings still available is 0-10 volt dimming (sometimes called 1-10 volt).
0-10 volt control gear has additional terminals on it marked "1" and "10" , depending on the voltage present at the terminals the lamp will increase or decrease in light intensity. instructions

DSI - fluorescent dimming
Any dimming method used for dimming fluorescent fittings will typically require special "control gear" in the light fittings.
A popular dimming method for fluorescent lamps is DSI, it is supported by various lighting manufacturers.
One of the advantges with DSI dimming instead of other methods such as 0-10 volt dimming is that less C-Bus products are required to control the light.
DSI dimmers provide On/Off control and the dimming "level" control from the same unit, effectively saving the cost of a seperate relay unit for switching the light.
Programming of the C-Bus DSI unit is identical to standard C-Bus dimmers. instructions

DALI - fluorescent dimming
Whilst the DALI gateway is not specifically an "output", ( it is a gateway that transfers communications between a DALI network and a C-Bus network) it can still be listed here.
Any dimming method used for dimming fluorescent fittings will require special "control gear" in the light fittings to support it.
One dimming standard is DALI.
Instead of using a C-Bus output to control a load, the load has a DALI control gear in the fitting and is connected to a DALI network.
A C-Bus > DALI gateway ( 5502DAL ) is used to send control signals to the DALI network.
The DALI control gear is configured by a seperate software utility ( supplied by the DALI control gear manufacturer ) and is configured by the installer.
The DALI Gateway allows C-Bus to send On/ Off and dimming "level" control signals to the DALI control gear.

Infrared Wall plate
This wall mounted C-Bus unit can be programmed ( via C-Bus CIRCA software) with pre-learned manufacturers codes from its library. The "IR" code is then configured by the installer to "emit" when a C-Bus group address is set to a specific level or percentage. This allows "IR" codes to be triggered remotely by other C-Bus devices such as key input units or touchscreens.
5034NIRT - Standard instructions
C5034NIRT - Classic 2000 style
SC5034NIRT - Slimline style
SL5034NIRT - Eclipse style
All versions listed above require the following products;
5100HSC - programming cable, requires RS232 comport, not compatible with USB adaptors
8050LD - Single head emitter cable instructions
8050/2LD - Double head emitter cable
combinations of the two cables above can be used depending on how many devices you need to control.
Some IR codes may also be learnt by using the "Infrared code learning unit", this device connects directly to your computer by USB. The codes are learned by using our "IR Reader" software ( available for free download from our website).
Note that some IR codes may not be "learnable" by this unit.

Marshalling Box ( UK / England only )
The C-Bus Marshalling Box Units are lighting control devices, which, as part of the extensive C-Bus range of building control and management products, simplify the planning, electrical design, and installation of automated lighting control systems for commercial building fit-outs.
These units are specifically designed for the UK market and support a cabling layout / termination method common to the UK market.
These products have not been submitted for Australian Approvals.
